Pune: Keertan Mahotsav:Festival of Story Telling' is organized by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation under its cultural Outreach Programme till 3rd December 2023.
Keertan Jugalbandi will be performed by Shri Shreyas Badve and Mrs. Manasi Badve, on 6pm,Friday, 1 December 2023. The 'Rashtriya Keertan' will be performed by Charudatta Aphale on 6pm,2nd December 2023. On the last day of the festival i.e on 3 December 2023, a debate cum panel discussion will be held during 10 a.m. to 12 am. on" Keertan Parampara yesterday, today and tomorrow". Dr. Sadanand More, senior media expert Prof. Vishram Dhole; Professor of Philosophy Dr. Pranav Gokhale will participate in the debate. Prof. Abhay Tilak will moderate the discussions. On the same day, at 6.00 p.m. in the evening, the festival will be concluded with a speech by Smt. Leena Mehendale on" Keertan Parampara as originated from Mahabharat" This will be followed by Ramdasi Keertan by Ameya Buwa Ramdasi from Thane.
All the Keertans and debate programme will be held at Bhavan's Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Sabhagriha,407-408, Shivajinagar, Off Senapati Bapat Road, Opp. Hotel Marriot; Pune 411 016. This festival is open to all. The Bhavan has extended cordial invitation to all scholars; students and interested public for this unique festival of Storytelling-Katha Keertan.
