There is a possibility of a major political earthquake in Maharashtra's politics. The Nationalist Congress Party, Shiv Sena, and Bharatiya Janata Party have formed an alliance. Ajit Pawar is likely to take oath as the Deputy Chief Minister in the Shinde government, and it is believed that nine NCP MLAs will also take oath as ministers. Nationalist Congress Party leader Ajit Pawar has joined the Maharashtra government as the Deputy Chief Minister. He will be sharing posts with Bharatiya Janata Party leader Devendra Fadnavis.
Along with Ajit Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal, Dhananjay Munde, and Dilip Walse Patil from the Nationalist Congress Party took the oath of office as ministers. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Raj Bhavan.
On the first day, Ajit Pawar met some party leaders and legislators at his official residence in Mumbai. Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar was not aware of this meeting.
