‘Nritya Samvaad - Conversations Through Dance’ to be held in America

 

Pune: Shambhavi’s International School of Kathak is organizing a

a mesmerizing evening of dance and celebration to honor the legendary

Kathak artist, Pandita Maneesha Sathe, on her 70th birthday. Together with

her talented daughter-disciple, Shambhavi Dandekar, ManeeshaSathe will

present ‘Nritya Samvaad - Conversations Through Dance’.Live Musical Accompaniment by Bay Area’s best Tanmay Bichu (Tabla),

Aditya Ranade (Harmonium and vocals), Namrata Mahabal (Vocals) and

Maneesha ji’s senior disciple Vallarie Apte (Padhant).

Proceeds from the event will go towards Maneesha Nrityalaya

Scholarship Fund to support underprivileged dance students from

rural parts of India, who aspire to take up Kathak dance as their

career.
