Mumbai: As Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took an aggressive stance on account sharing, a consensus could not be reached on the account sharing of NCP ministers. A rift has arisen over two portfolios, the expansion of the cabinet and allocation of portfolios has been delayed.
Currently, major developments are taking place in the alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP. It is reported that Bachu Kadu is also upset. Meanwhile, nine NCP ministers including Ajit Pawar have been sworn in. Even after 10 days, NCP ministers are still not allocated portfolios. The restlessness of these ministers has also increased as they have to act as non-commissioned ministers.
There is a discussion that Ajit Pawar is upset about the allocation of accounts. It is being reported that they are insisting that the finance department should remain with them. The leaders of the Shinde group are stuck on this account. While the NCP is interested in the guardian minister post of Raigad, the Shinde group is also vying for the same post. Ajit Pawar's displeasure is visible due to this.
A meeting of the Ajit Pawar faction will be held again today. After meeting with Amit Shah yesterday, Ajit Pawar will discuss with senior leaders what was discussed in the meeting. NCP meeting will be held today at the 'Devagiri' bungalow where Ajit Pawar resides. There will be no problem in account allocation.
