Police investigated important information!
Pune: The president of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar, was threatened by Sagar Barve through social media. The police have arrested a young man from Pune in connection with this incident.
Sagar Barve is an IT engineer and his information has been obtained. After the arrest, Mumbai police took him to court and he has been remanded in police custody until Tuesday. Barve is an employee of a software company.
The Mumbai police arrested him for threatening Sharad Pawar through a Facebook post. The post was made from the account of Narmada Bai Patwardhan. The post stated that Sharad Pawar would be killed like Narendra Dabholkar. The Rashtrawadi Congress party worker filed an FIR against the post. Supriya Sule also met with the Mumbai police commissioner to demand an investigation into the matter.
