Pune: Good news has been given by the weather department that the monsoon rains will enter Kerala in the next 24 hours. However, the impact of the cyclonic storm Biparjoy may reduce the amount of rainfall until it weakens.
Due to favorable conditions for the onset of the monsoon in Kerala, there is a possibility of it entering tomorrow, as stated by the weather department. Usually, the monsoon arrives in Kerala towards the end of May, but this year it has been delayed.
The cyclonic storm Biparjoy and the low-pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal will bring rainfall to the southern islands. After the cyclonic storm weakens, the monsoon will move towards the southern islands. After the onset of the monsoon in Kerala, the rainfall is expected to decrease until the cyclonic storm Biparjoy weakens, according to meteorologists.
