Mumbai: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expressed grief over the accident that occurred in Asud on the Dapoli-Harne road in the Ratnagiri district, where a truck and a private passenger vehicle collided. He also directed the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to provide assistance of 5 lakhs to the relatives of the deceased.
Gaurdian Minister Uday Samant also obtained information on the matter and gave instructions to provide appropriate medical treatment for the injured at government expense.
Eight people died in this accident and some were injured.
