Pune: A fire erupted in a gas cylinder used for cooking, causing household items to burn in the Ramtekdi area of Hadapsar. The fire was successfully extinguished by the fire brigade team within 20 minutes, but the household items were destroyed. The incident was inspected by assistant police inspector Rahul Giramkar and sub-inspector Maya Gawade of the Wanawadi police station.
According to the information received, Shababai Parmeshwar Thosar was cooking at her home in the Ramtekdi area with a gas cylinder Suddenly, the cylinder started leaking gas and caught fire within a few moments. Shababai quickly ran out of the house and the fire brigade team arrived in time to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage. After the fire was put out, there was a lot of commotion in the area.
The head of the Hadapsar fire brigade, Pramod Sonawane, along with firefighters Sanjay Jadhav, Nitesh Sagale, Amit Sarode, and others, successfully controlled the fire.
