Pune: A group of four men committed the heinous crime of gang rape with a woman in a secluded place near Ghodegaon (Taluka Ambegaon) village, Pune. This incident has shocked the entire Pune district. The victim lodged a complaint with the Ghodegaon police station.
According to the information provided by the police, the accused are Akash Chandrakant Bhalerao, Sandesh, Sanjay, and Adesh Ashok Jadhav. The police immediately arrested Akash Chandrakant Bhalerao, who is the victim's lover.
On Friday (23rd), the two were riding a motorcycle when the three accused came on a motorcycle and took them to a secluded place near Ghodegaon village. Against the victim's wishes, they forcefully stripped her and committed gang rape. The accused threatened her saying that if anyone is informed about the incident, they will kill her.
After the incident, the victim immediately ran to the Ghodegaon police station and informed them. Based on her complaint, the Ghodegaon police station has registered a case of gang rape against the four accused. The police have taken Akash Chandrakant Bhalerao into custody and are searching for the other three accused. The investigation is being carried out by assistant police inspector Jeevan Mane.
