Mumbai: After August 11, Ajit Pawar will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state, as claimed by some leading sources.
After the conclusion of the monsoon session, State Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar will disqualify Shinde and his 16 supporters. After that, Pawar will become the Chief Minister, as stated by Rediff and Firstpost.
It has been reported that this strategy has been devised by the central leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Ajit Pawar has been told to join the government as the Deputy Chief Minister and wait until August. He has been assured of becoming the Chief Minister.
Ajit Pawar was in contact with BJP before Eknath Shinde. However, this plan failed as the BJP leadership denied him the position of Chief Minister at that time as stated in the news.
