Ajit Pawar has the support of 42 MLAs in the Legislative Assembly and 2 MLAs in the Legislative Council. The Nationalist Congress Party has a total of 54 MLAs in the Assembly. This means that only 12 MLAs have pledged their support to Sharad Pawar. The important point is that Ajit Pawar has not only received support from MLAs, but he has also taken the affidavits. Therefore, it is clear that Ajit Pawar now has a majority in the Nationalist Congress Party. Sharad Pawar has suffered a major setback due to the loss of MLAs.
Today, there will be two meetings of the Nationalist Congress Party in Mumbai. Ajit Pawar's group will hold a rally at the MMRDA Ground, while Sharad Pawar's group will hold a meeting at the Yashwantrao Chavan Center.
Meanwhile, a meeting of Ajit Pawar's supporters has visited their residence in Deogiri. Amol Mitkari, Ramraje Naik Nimbalkar, Vikram Kale, Aniket Tatkare, and Satish Chavan were seen with Ajitdada.
