Bhalwani: A teacher of a high school in Bhalwani, taluka Pandharpur, district Solapur brutally beat up a student of tenth standard and the parents of the student have approached the police. The police sent the student to a government hospital for treatment and a medical report.
Srishailya Sudhir Kadam, a Tenth grader in the New English School in Bhalwani, was beaten up by a teacher named Nargide this morning during class of the school. Shrasailya and some friends were throwing paper balls at each other. Angered by this, Nargide beat Srishailya severely with a stick. Even after 11 hours, the curves on his back, thighs, and buttocks are still there.
Talking about this matter, the father of this student said that while his son wanted to escape from this assault and run away to save his life Nargide brought him back to the classroom beat him brutally, and thrust him down thru stairs. In this case, he was rushed to Pandharpur Rural Police Station and the police sent his son to Pandharpur Government Hospital for treatment and medical report.
A case should be registered against this teacher and he should be arrested. Also, Srishailya's father has demanded that the management of the institution take action against this teacher.
