Mumbai: The aftermath of yesterday's political earthquake has begun. Notice has been given to all those taking oath with Ajit Pawar, and the process for disciplinary action has been initiated by the Nationalist Congress Party.
Ajit Pawar has taken the oath of Deputy Chief Minister. Along with him, Chhagan Bhujbal, Dilip Walse Patil, Hasan Mushrif, Dhananjay Munde, Dharmarav Baba Atram, Aditi Tatkare, Sanjay Bansode, and Anil Patil have also taken the oath.
The process of taking disciplinary action against all of them has been initiated by the Nationalist Congress Party. For this, notice has been sent to all of them. This notice is regarding the possibility of becoming ineligible.
Meanwhile, letters have also been sent to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from the party. The state president of the Nationalist Congress Party, Jayant Patil, has stated that a petition has been filed to declare nine individuals ineligible for taking the oath of ministerial positions. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Rahul Narvekar, has also confirmed receiving the petition and stated that a decision will be made after studying and practicing the law.
Speaking about the notice, Sharad Pawar said that Jayant Patil has taken the decision after careful consideration. He has sent the notice to the nine individuals after studying the law. Jayant Patil has the authority to send the notice.
