Fonda: The Portuguese destroyed many ancient Indian temples in Goa to destroy Indian culture. The Goa government has taken an important decision to revive Indian culture by restoring all these destroyed temples. Accordingly, the ancient Shri Saptakoteshwar temple was restored by the Goa government itself. A committee has been formed to restore other temples. The decision taken by the Goa government is commendable. The history of the destruction of many temples by the Mughal invaders is available throughout the country. Therefore, the central government should take the decision to restore all the destroyed Hindu temples across the country to preserve the cultural heritage of the country. This important demand was made by Shri Sunil Ghanavat, the coordinator of the Maharashtra Temple Federation, in a press conference.
He was speaking at a press conference organized for the "Global Hindu Nation Festival". At this time, Vishnu Shankar Jain, the advocate of the Supreme Court who will fight for knowledge and liberation in Kashi, Jayesh Thali of the Gomantak Temple Federation, Suresh Kaudare, the president of the Jyotirlinga Shrikshetra Bhimashankar Devasthan, and Anup Jaiswal, the secretary of the Devasthan Seva Samiti in Vidarbha, were present.
