Shivsrishti to be developed at six locations in the state :Tourism Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha

 

Mumbai: Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation will be developing Shivsrishti, gardens, museums, and Shivaji-themed parks at six locations in the state - Shivneri, Gorai, Buldhana, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Ramtek, to provide tourists with information about the history of the state and the valor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The project will cost Rs. 410 crores and will be completed within a year. Tourism Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha provided this information at a press conference held in Mantralaya.


Minister Lodha said that the state government and the tourism department are taking various initiatives to promote tourism in the state and create employment opportunities. Every tourist who comes to the state should experience the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and this project will help tourists and Shivaji enthusiasts to get all the information about Shivaji's history. According to the information received from the public, changes will be made to the Shivsrishti project. Various competitions will also be organized.


 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Bal Sanskar Center will be developed at Shivneri. The project will cost Rs. 70 crores. At Gorai (Mumbai), the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation has removed unauthorized constructions and will now develop a War Museum spread over 25 acres, which will inspire visitors with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's martial skills and bravery. Rajmata Jijau Museum will be developed in Buldhana, Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Museum in Aurangabad, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Rajkoushalya Museum in Nashik, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hindavi Swarajya Museum in Ramtek. Each project will cost Rs. 50 crores. Through the means of Shivsrushti, Udyan, and Museum, the future generations will experience the glorious history of Rajmata Jijabai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, as well as the prideful history of Maharashtra.


For the theme park, Acharya Chanakya Museum, a budget of 75 crores has been allocated to teach the complete life story of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and the major events of the Andaman-Nicobar prison. Additionally, a budget of 75 crores has been allocated for the teachings of Chanakya's Neeti, which includes five sections of politics, economics, social policies, war policies, and religious policies, along with a one-month course.

For the Sai devotees who visit Shirdi, a budget of 3 crores has been allocated for the establishment of residential facilities in Padgha (Bhivandi, Thane).


To promote the conservation and development of tourist sites among the younger generation, a youth tourism club will soon be established in every school and college. The tourism department will organize programs to encourage the preservation of local tourist sites and attract more tourists to the area.


On June 21, International Yoga Day, the Women and Child Development Minister, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, announced that yoga is essential for good health and should be practiced by everyone, especially women. To promote yoga among women and girls in every Anganwadi, a training program will be organized for registered women (including pregnant women) to celebrate International Yoga Day.
