Pune: On 30th June, at Chandani Chowk, a minibus overturned at around 6:30 am, carrying four passengers. No fatalities were reported in this accident. However, two passengers suffered minor injuries.
According to Inspector Sunil Jaitapurkar of the Malwadi Police Station, the minibus was traveling from Warje to the Mumbai-Pune highway when the incident occurred. The steering wheel locked, causing the driver to lose control, resulting in the bus skidding and overturning. However, the driver skillfully managed to bring the bus to a halt on a footpath.
As per the information provided by Sunil Jaitapurkar, the steering rod and some parts of the doors of the minibus were damaged.
Due to the driver's alertness, no fatalities occurred, and only two individuals suffered minor injuries, The Warje police are conducting a thorough investigation of the incident.
