Mumbai: The cost of fuel in the country has increased by 30 to 40 percent. In this regard, as a solution, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has announced that companies will produce cars that run on ethanol, reducing fuel costs by 20 percent. Discussions have been ongoing for several days about vehicles running on ethanol. In the meantime, Nitin Gadkari made a big announcement. In August, cars running on ethanol will be launched in the market, including four-wheelers and two-wheelers, as Gadkari clarified.
Today, the BJP organized a Golemej Parishad in Mumbai to celebrate the Modi government's nine-year anniversary. Nitin Gadkari, BJP state president Chandrashekhar bavankule, and Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar were present at the event. Gadkari said that Toyota will launch a car in August that runs on 100 percent bioethanol, which will be available for less than Rs. 15 per liter compared to petrol. It will be pollution-free. Scooters and four-wheelers will also be available in the market.
Gadkari also spoke about various schemes of the government. He told The Ayushman Bharat scheme has benefited 37 crore people. Under the PM Kisan scheme, 9.6 crore people have received gas connections. Under the Jan Dhan scheme, 49 crore bank accounts have been opened. The aim of these schemes is to uplift the poorest citizens.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, three crore people have been given homes. The list of beneficiaries and schemes is extensive.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought about changes in economic policy. Development work is underway, and changes are being made in economic policy. In nine years, we have completed work worth Rs. 50 lakh crore, and there have been no allegations of corruption or opaque business dealings. Our government has made everything digital, which has brought transparency and eliminated corruption, as Nitin Gadkari clarified.
Gadkari said that the socialist parties have no place in the country, and the communist parties have also been eliminated. The BJP has three important principles: nationalism, putting the nation first, and running a good government.
