Pimpri: The municipal administration is preparing a 'Master Plan' to address the ongoing issue of society owners in Pimpri-Chinchwad. For this, a joint meeting of society owners, construction professionals, and public representatives will be held to prepare a blueprint, as assured by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh.
In the presence of MLA Mahesh Landge, the Federation of Society Owners and Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh held a meeting to discuss various issues faced by society owners. During the winter session in Nagpur, MLA Landge raised concerns about the problems faced by society owners due to the transfer of ownership, society transfer, and construction professionals' errors. The state government had taken note of this issue. Therefore, Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh is preparing a comprehensive plan to address the problems faced by society owners and construction professionals.
A meeting will be held soon to form a committee comprising society owners' representatives, federation representatives, municipal officials, and construction professionals to ensure that the project or society transfer is carried out with due diligence and adherence to rules and regulations. This will prevent any future disputes between society owners and construction professionals.
Stop the contract for water supply maintenance:
Contractors are appointed for water supply maintenance, and they are also involved in construction work. This has led to an artificial water shortage. Municipal officials are also involved in this, and complaints have been raised. Therefore, the municipal administration has decided to stop the contract for water supply maintenance and adopt a uniform water supply maintenance system.
