Khed: Due to Inappropriate Planning of Khed municipality; in the first rain, Gutters in Khed overflowed.
People have expressed their dissatisfaction as they have to wade through this dirty water. an area like Mahatma Fule Nagar has to face this problem severely. The area is also filled with a foul smell. Local residents say that many times they have informed the cleaning staff, but the gutters are still not cleaned properly. As a result, during the first rain, the gutters overflowed with sand and water all over the area. Since 5 June, many schools have started, and students have to walk through this dirty water.
In many places, including the Cafe Corner on Shivtar Road, small and large gutters overflow with sand and water on the roads. As a result, accidents like slipping or falling off a bike have occurred during the first rain. Many residents blame Khed municipality's sanitary department for this. Due to the increase in the foul smell and the breeding of mosquitos, citizens are afraid of epidemic diseases.
It is necessary to clean the city's drains and gutters before the 31st of May. But the municipality neglected it. Many citizens are questioning why the municipality has yet not taken any action.
