In case of an unfortunate death of a Warkari during the Wari, their family will receive a compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs. Additionally, if a Warkari becomes permanently disabled or suffers from any kind of disability due to an accident, they will receive a compensation of Rs. 1 lakh. In case of partial disability, they will receive a compensation of Rs. 50,000. Moreover, if a Warkari falls ill during the Wari, they will receive medical expenses up to Rs. 35,000.
The government has made this decision and the Relief and Rehabilitation Department will implement this scheme. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Warkaris and their families in case of any unfortunate incidents during the Wari.
During the Wari, accidents or mishaps can occur, and Warkaris can get injured or even lose their lives. This scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the Warkaris and their families in such situations, as announced by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
