Mumbai: A case against former minister and leader of the Shiv Sena, Anil Parab, has been filed with offenses threatening and obstructing government officials of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation along with others.
In this concern, police have arrested former Ex corporator Sadanand Parab, Haji Alim Sheikh, Uday Dalvi, and Santosh Kadam,
The Shiv Sena had organized a protest at the H/East ward office of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation. During the protest, some people had allegedly assaulted the officials. A case has been registered against them.
One of the officials of the Municipal Corporation had complained to the Wakola police that Anil Parab and around 20-25 protesters of the Shiv Sena had obstructed their work and threatened and beaten them. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 353, 332, 506, and 34.
The police have started the search for the other remaining accused, including those who were present at the scene.
