Pune: Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University's New Law College, Pune AETIP & CL Cell Induction organised a session on “Awareness & Career in Cyber Law”.
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University New Law College’s Advance Exploration Training of Intellectual Property & Cyber Law cell conducted ‘Deeksharambh’ on “Awareness & Career in Cyber Law” for Induction Program on 4th & 5th August, 2023.
The panel comprised of Pankaj Deshmukh, (Superintendent of Police Economic Offences Wing CID), ACP S.M. Babar,( Asst. Commissioner of Police) & Special Executive Magistrate, Adv. Vaibhav Salunkhe Practicing in Cyber Offences, Dr. Ujjwala Bendale, Dean & In charge Principal of New Law College, Dr. Jyoti Dharma, Vice-Principal and Dr. Rajlakshmi Wagh, Faculty Coordinator BVDU New Law College.
They shared their profound insights on the various incidences on cyber crime and the precaution measures to be taken by every individual. Mr. Pankaj Deshmukh gave an insight into the various career options available to the law students in the Digital world. He stressed that students to have techno curiosity, structured and critical thinking and further laid down the role of a lawyer in FCRA and Digital space.
He further comprehensively discussed the Data Protection Bill, 2019 and the Law Commission Reports.
