Nashik: An ST bus going from Saptashrungi Ghat to Khambgaon in Buldhana district met with an accident on 12th July in the morning at around 6:30 am. The bus, with approximately 22 passengers, In this accident, one person died and 22 passengers were injured. The injured have been admitted to the local hospitals in Nanduri and Vani for treatment.
Out of the 22 passengers, 16 were from Amalner taluka and were residents of Mudi village, while the remaining 4 passengers were from the Saptashrungi gad. The bus with registration number MH 40 AQ 6259 was returning in the morning. Due to heavy rain, slippery roads, and difficult terrain on the Ghat, the driver lost control of the bus, resulting in a severe accident. The bus driver, Ganesh Tapke, and the conductor, Purushottam Tikar, were also injured in the accident. The driver's injuries are serious.
Immediately after the accident, the locals rushed to the accident site and started rescue operations. The police arrived at the scene and admitted the injured to the hospital.

Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, has ordered the local administration to ensure immediate and free medical treatment for the injured in the ST bus accident that occurred at Saptashrungi Ghat in Nashik.
This morning, as soon as the information about the accident was received, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar immediately called the Nashik District Collector and the officials of the concerned department to get information. He also provided information about free medical treatment for the injured. Under the guidance of Minister Dada Bhuse, the district administration has started relief work. He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased passenger and assured them that the injured will be quickly recovered.
