MUMBAI: A few days ago Shiv Sena Thackeray group MLA Manisha Kayande left Thackeray group and joined Shiv Sena Shinde group. After Kayande, Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Neelam Gorhe left the Thackeray group and joined the Shinde group.
On the very first day of the Monsoon session today, a strong demand was made by the Thackeray group to disqualify Neelam Gorhe and Manisha Kayande. Due to this, it is being discussed that both are in trouble. The Thackeray group has sent a letter to the Vidhan Bhavan Secretary demanding that Neelam Gorhe and Manisha Kayande be disqualified. Now Gorhe and Kayande have to reply to this letter within the next fourteen days.
Meanwhile, the session had to be adjourned after half an hour on the first day as the opposition became aggressive. Congress and the Thackeray group staged a strong protest on the steps of Vidhan Bhavan. Discussions arose as NCP MLAs did not participate in this movement.
