Mumbai: Anything can happen in politics, this belief was reinforced after Ajit Pawar's revolt yesterday. Ajit Pawar managed to form an alliance with Shiv Sena and BJP. The nationalist party has become the third faction in the current state government. They have claimed themselves as the nationalist party.
However, Sharad Pawar, the president of the nationalist party, has made it clear that he does not support the decision to give support to BJP. Therefore, the question is arise that who will be the leader of the nationalist party and the most number of MLAs, MPs, and officials supporting him has now arisen.
Meanwhile, Sharad Pawar organized a party meeting on Wednesday (5th July) at 1 pm at Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai. State President Jayant Patil has requested all district presidents, state executives, front cell state heads, all taluka presidents, and other officials to be present at this meeting through the official Twitter handle of the nationalist party.
On the other hand, it is known that Ajit Pawar and his supporters have also called for a meeting of their group's MLAs and officials in Mumbai on 5th July.
