The recognition reflects Bharat Forge's progress in reducing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission and its steadfast commitment to combating climate change, underscoring its dedication to environmental stewardship.

The Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2023 list features companies headquartered in the Asia-Pacific region with a minimum revenue of USD 50 million in 2021. Among the criteria considered were transparent reporting of scope 1 and scope 2 emissions for the years 2016 - 2021, annual reduction of emissions intensity of at least 3% over the five-year period from 2016 to 2021, and a minimum CDP score of ‘B‘, if emissions were reported to the CDP. Additionally, a commitment with the Science Based Targets initiative and transparent reporting of scope 3 emissions for 2021, ideally including more than five scope 3 categories, were also essential factors in the selection process.
