New Delhi: On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar made a significant change in the party during a program held in Delhi. In his major announcement, he appointed Supriya Sule and Praful Patel as the executive president of the party.
Among these two executive presidents, Praful Patel will be responsible for Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Goa, and Jharkhand, while Supriya Sule will be responsible for women, youth, and Maharashtra, Haryana, and Lok Sabha.
During the program, Sharad Pawar thanked all the supporters who helped in the growth of the Nationalist Congress Party in the last 25 years. The party was born for the benefit of the poor and farmers, and in the last 24 years, it has been serving the people. The Indian National Congress is currently ruling the country with a strong majority, and there is also discrimination against minorities and women. Farmers are not getting proper compensation, and there is a lack of employment opportunities. Therefore, in every state, there is growing opposition to the BJP.
Many states have kept the BJP at bay. Now, on June 23, all the opposition parties are coming together in Bihar. If they work together, they can bring about a change in the country, said Sharad Pawar.
