Mumbai: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced that a fund of 41 crores rupees will be made available to complete the revolutionary Chaphekar brothers' memorial in Pimpri Chinchwad.
A meeting was held at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai to discuss the progress of the memorial work. The meeting was attended by MLA Ashwini Jagtap, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Girish Prabhune of the Krantiveer Chaphekar Smarak Samiti, and other dignitaries.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Shinde stated that the government will provide the necessary funds to complete the Chaphekar brothers' memorial as soon as possible. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will send a proposal to the government for this purpose.
Prabhune provided an update on the progress of the memorial work. He also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the memorial and received a positive response.
