Pune: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPL) has suddenly resumed its night bus service from today, Thursday (June 8, 2023). This news will give relief to citizens who travel at night in the city. This service will be started on five routes initially based on practical principles. This has been announced by PMPL.
The night bus route that was closed due to some reasons has been restored. However, this time the Pimpri-Chinchwad city is not included, but five routes in Pune city are included. These buses will run from midnight to 5 am.
This bus service has been started by giving priority to the safety and convenience of special passengers such as hospitals, various IT institutions, companies, hotels, and their employees. These buses will run every hour during this period.
PMPL President Omprakash Bakoria has ordered the night bus service to start from Thursday. According to the demand of passengers, the night bus service will be started on five routes in the city. This service has been started to avoid inconvenience to passengers during the night. The number of buses will be increased according to the response of passengers. This has been stated by Omprakash Bakoria.
The timetable for the buses that will start anew is as follows:
1) Night Route 1 - Katraj to Shivajinagar (New ST Stand) Swargate, Shanipar, M.N.P. Building
2) Night Route 2 - Katraj to Pune Station Swargate, Nanapeth, Rasta Peth
3) Night Route 3 - Hadapsar to Swargate Vaiduwadi, Ramtekdi, Pulgate
4) Night Route 4 - Hadapsar to Pune Station Pulgate, Bombay Garage, Westend Talkies
5) Night Route 5 - Pune Station to NDA Gate 10 Nanapeth, Laxmi Road, Deccan Corner
