Pune: Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society (Azam Campus) organized the International Yoga Day on Wednesday, June 21 from 8 am to 10 am with great enthusiasm.
More than two thousand students from
the institution's schools participated in the yoga demonstration. The President
of Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society, Dr. P. A. Inamdar, the
Vice-Chancellor of Dr. P. A. Inamdar University, the Secretary of the
institution, Prof. Irfan Sheikh, and the Principal and teachers were present at
the event. The program was held at the function ground (Azam Campus). The Azam
Sports Academy's directors, Dr. Gulzar Sheikh, Shabnam Pirzade, and Majid Sayyad
coordinated the event.
The tradition of practicing yoga for
physical and mental well-being has been in India for thousands of years.
Everyone should work towards spreading this tradition in every household and
worldwide. Dr. P. A. Inamdar expressed that this would help India become more robust and more powerful.
