Pune: Bharatiya vidya bhavan and Infosys Foundation's Cultural Outreach Program has organized a solo dance program Madhura Kapashikar and Vedshri Punetambekear, students of Prerana Deshpande, performed an impressive presentation. This program took place on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 5 pm at Bharatiya vidya bhavan's Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Auditorium, Senapati Bapat Road Pune.
This program was free. This was the 168th program under the Bharatiya vidya bhavan and Infosys Foundation's Cultural Outreach Program.
The Secretary of the Bharatiya vidya bhavan Prof. Nandkumar Kakirde, welcomed the audience. Ishan Paranjape, Krishna Salunkhe, Yashwant Thite, Shubham Khandalkar, and Kalyani Gokhale accompanied the performers.
After Vedshri Punetambekear's tribute, the program began with a three-beat performance. It included Uthan, That, Bandishi, Tihai, Thumri, and Tarana. The audience gave a good response. Madhura Kapashikar started with Vishnu Vandana. She performed the Taal Jhaptaal in ten beats. It included Uthan, Tode, Tihai, Bandish, and Tarana. The audience enjoyed the performance.
